Paid - 2 x Runner (placements) - 30th May 2026

In association with Wigan Council, we are hiring 2 x Runners to work on our upcoming feature-length documentary ‘The Lottery Winners - Return to Leigh.’

On 30th May 2026, we will be filming the live performance and are keen to support two local people who are looking for to get their first paid job in film and TV.

If you are based in Leigh (WN7) aged 16-30 and have some prior filmmaking knowledge then this could be for you.

Job role

Assistant the filming crew during a live performance filming of the Lottery Winners show on 30th May 2026 including but not limited to:

  • Helping carry and set up equipment.

  • Helping organise interviews and assist with contributor release forms.

  • Managing petty cash.

  • Helping capture some bts content.

What you will receive

  • At least 1 x days work paid at the current National Living Wage.

  • All reasonable out of pocket travel expenses and lunch provided on the day.

Eligibility

  • Priority will go to applicants with a home address in Leigh, Greater Manchester (WN7).

  • You must be aged 16-30 at the time of applying.

  • This is an entry-level role. However, we expect to see some basic filmmaking knowledge or technical awareness in your application, either through education or previous work experience.
